Eighteen and twenty piece checkerboards (in the rough) to allow for perspective in a finished handle.
Inlays with any number of segments can be made.
In the background is a block showing a diamond mosaic inlay that I am working on. As can be seen, the mosaic needs considerable improvement!
All inlays were made by hand without any jigs or complicated paraphernalia.

"without any jigs or complicated paraphernalia"! With an extraordinary amount of talent and patience however! Add clean lines and balance with great color choices and it looks like Eden's still crafting the finest of decorative pieces.

No wonder you haven't posted a picture in months....you've been busy not using complicated paraphernalia, lol!! Awesome work. I love the small lines in teh mosaic, I wish I could get it cut that thin in foam.

Mark, Stan, Billy, Steve:
Many thanks for the compliments.
Really appreciated!
Billy: I have not worked with foam, but can imagine that this material (like cork) is not conducive to clean lines.
Thanks again.
