This is a quickie rod for a friend, he'll be testing this set up for bucktailing Fluke in NJ. Blank is a DNY Impact, Black Customgrip, NPS 18 or 20 seat with the locking foregrip.

No,no, no, this is all wrong - the handle has to be installed backwards like Mike did it. Seriously, the tube looks unique there, but you can also cover it with thread or cord if you want to hide that shiny area. Also, there is a commercial source for various sized titanium tubes. I can get the address if anybody wants it - but the stuff isn't cheap. It's about $1.33 per inch. Of course, that's about what good cork goes for these days as well.

Teh tube is the perfect shap eto do a wrap on - no taper offset worries, and the thread packs REALLY well on metal tubes. It certainly wasn't cheap, Mike hooked me up though, lol.

That titanium looks really sharp. Looks like it would be good for whackin' a fish at boatside too!
