Sending it to my brother in Idaho. It would be a great salmon rod here though thats for sure!
What do you think about the pattern difference between the split grip section and the thunderbird wrap? Not going to change it but not sure how I like it either. Did this on the fly.

Ray, I think the pattern difference between the split grip section and the thunderbird wrap looks fine. It adds a bit more variety to the rod!
