Looks good Michael. Just a suggestion but you can use Astro blue/sliver to make the field of stars.

Thanks steve I saw that somewhere else and it looked very good. I do not have a large assortment of thread lying around and just used what I had. I think when I do this again on a rod I will go that route.

This always gets a ten from me because I bleed red white and blue. I saw someone mentioned Trimar to give the effect of stars but you can also make individual stars buy alternating the blue backfield with the first 3 white stripes. Looks great anyway.

I used Prizm thread on mine for the stars. Very nice wrap. You can't go wrong with a wrap like that!
