Very nice looking. My first impression was of an "older classic". It looks a lot like some wooden handle (and blank) rods from the 30s & 40s that my father in-law who lived and fished in E NC on the OBX had in his collection.

Raymond, very nice work! Is there much weight difference when using cedar instead of cork?

Thanks everyone!
Sam,
The cedar is a little heavier than cork but it is negligable.
Steve & Mike,
I wish I could take credit for turning the handle & fore grip but I didn't I
found it on Ebay and paid only a couple of bucks plus shipping!
