Looks like the guidefoot needs a little prep work.

Guide foot definitely needs to be flattened - we did a comprehensive article in RodMaker a bit back on all aspects of how to do this properly.

I just looked at the photo on magnified view and you can, indeed, see daylight beneath the guidefoot, i.e., it doesn't sit flat. The upright portion of the guide is also a bit off of perpendicular. Should be just fine once ground and flattened to sit flat.
