This portable weighted base system can be used in field with a five gallon bucket to wrap rods for shop like repairs. Spools are tensioned either by locking nuts or clips. It is also designed with legs that fit the track of most powerwrappers for inshop use.


Many offshore boats have one in rod locker to repair boat rods while on overnight charters.
