Very nice. I like how it looks like leaves. Looks great with the holos. Your flame work is very cool too.

Scott,
I think that you do a beautiful job on these rods. I like the color choices and the imagination you use in the wraps and epoxy but I have to say that I think the tiger effect you get is the most impressive.

Awesome marbling job and again finish is great. What do you use to make the ramps for the foregrip?

Doc, I sand the end of the hypalon to shape, coat it with epoxy, wrap & finish.

scott, very cool. on the ramps to the forgrip you don't have any problems with the epoxy cracking from being flexed?

Stan, Not at all. Ive been ramping over the hypalon like that for the last 9or 10 years, no problems im aware of. Ive built litterally thousands of rods(no exageration!)like that. Ive seen many of my rods used by some of the local charter captains and commercial guys...abused and used daily for years, come in for guide repairs, and the wrap over the grip in great shape. Heck, some of these guys even use it as a hook keeper and burry their hooks into the grip just below it!!
