Very nice. Speaking of swamps, I have a piece of Cypress limb out of a S GA swamp drying, I hope when I turn it comes out as nice as your cedar.

Thanks for the nice words. I don't know about the cypress, I like cedars lightness compared to some of the other woods I have used.

Very NiceClean work! Looks a lot like the Rocky Mountain Juniper that I get from Stan Grace! Same wood different name, maybe???????

Thanks for the positive feed back guys.
Mike not sure if it is the same as the Rocky Mountain Juniper, before finishing it smells the same as aromatic cedar that you would use for closet. Does the Rocky Mountain Juniper smell the same? This stuff came from the Missippi Valley around Central Wisconsin(I have family there).

Thanks again for compliments. I did 2 sanded coats of satin poly urathane and 3 coats of Spar Varnish to finish.
