I like the light hand with marbling. Definitely not over done...which is a good thing.


Things to work on:


- Your thread packing/burnishing needs some work. Too many gaps showing in this as well as your butt wrap pictures.


- In this picture there is a lump of thread sticking out on the left side of the wrap. What is that? It shouldn't be there. Be careful in your tie offs.


- Your epoxy work needs attention. In this wrap there is a blob of epoxy on the right side extending on to the blank. Work on getting that to an even band that wraps around the blank. In your butt wrap pictures you can tell where your finish is lumpy/not level. Practice on some junk blanks and/or dowels.

thanks jay,your comments are why i decided to post,i'll admit sometimes my epoxy work drives me crazy,i'm about 50/50 good or bad,the gaps on most of the wrap is actually either a single line thread or holoshimer that just did not photograph well,as for that black mark -gonna have to look a little closer,anyway thank you for the comments
