This rod has a very Interesting story.
About 3 months ago, Justin Schmid posted a Question on the board, “if he could use a Fly rod blank to cast a Lure that is very light 1/32 oz.
Every body told him “No” not to do that, but nobody told him what to do.
So took the time and Explained: to get an English Match rod, and take the front section of the blank to built his dream rod and that he might has to build some Spigot Ferrules, and maybe miss match some blank parts. Why a Match rod : simple it is designed to cast a bobber the size of an match a long distance (120 – 150 ft. nothing special)
Than he answered me: that he has never built a fishing rod if I would like to built it for him. It was an definite for me to do so. Many of you guys could had that order just nobody took the time to explain him what to do, the rod is being used in the Mountain Lakes of Colorado and Justin loves it, so many rod builders told him that kind of a blank is not available, Wrong think out side of the box, any thing can be done, if you an Builder and not an Assembler, the poor guy could not get any one in his State to help him and he did not shy to spend the green ones.
