The dowel on the left has Color Lock 2 and LS Supreme. The one on the right has just LS Supreme. The numbers are the colors that were used in order.

Interesting there Jim. I also expected the No CP side to be a bit darker. I think the light coloured dowel makes it look brighter. On a darker piece of scrap blank maybe next time?

Jim, The results will be much different if you do the same test over again but this time use a dark grey or charcoal blank.

Interesting Jim. At least we know what to expect on light colored blanks. I bet it is even lighter on a white blank. Thanks for the time and effort Jim.
