I'm doing a 9' 8 WT Pink flyrod for the woman's division winner at our annual One Fly on October 8TH..... Bubble gum Pink Blank...... I used Rose Gudebrod for the Rose... Medium Green Gudebrod for the leaves and 2 Different Maroons along with Gold Metallic Trim for the background.... Purpleheart with 3 coats of Tung Oil for the Insert

Nicely done. The solid background makes the roses appear inlaid.

Very nice. I agree with Tom, the solid maroon with the gold trim really frames the rose well.
