In an earlier issue of RodMaker, we did a feature on various methods for creating security identification features on rods in case one ever needed to identify something recovered after a theft. This photo shows the invisible ink and blacklight pen system. The marking is under the finish for protection and doesn't show at all in regular light. Under the blacklight pen, however, the identifying mark lights up like the fair.
