I finally got a chance to finish this build. It started of as a St Croix Build Your Own Blank 6'8" Med Ex-Fast blank that was painted a grey color at the factory. The grip is acrylic with corian and aluminum trim. The reel seat is a acrylic pen blank that I made in a half elliptical with aluminum. The fore and aft wrap were done at the same time wrapping over the mid grip shaving some time off the build.

Thanks guys, Dan I went with the blue and I'm glad that I did. It really gives it a different look. Billy I was going to do a in - out, but when I laid it out it was going to be to tight to close right.
