Bill these would look good done as a spiral wrap around the rod.It's been done before and isn't that hard.

There is a few boo boo's in it I can see. It was a practice run. I guess I could use some scrap blanks to practice some other things. Spiraled, got to try that. Had the flex coat wallhangers sitting here for about two years. Finally used one.

I'd leave the razor alone, and break out the sandpaper to remove that bump on the first pattern on the left. Next time get the trim bands the same length uniformly on both sides of the tie off - that Goldenrod-ish color on the right side, next to teh Gold is shorter than the one on the left.

Yea I know Billy. I was not really trying to that good a job. This was the rod the girl thought the gold seat was more of a yellow color ???
