This was my first tiger, and it didnt come out as well as I would like. I think the two colors under, hot pink and bright blue (both A), were not contrasting enough to each other making them blend together and not giving the yellow on top a chance to work with them.
I wrapped the base right to left, burnishing, CP, two coats of epoxy, and then top left to right with neon yellow and black, both A, sacrificing the black. The picture looks worse than it does in person as you cant see much of the burnishing in the pic. The further you get the rod from your eyes, the more tiger design you can see, but it is still very light.
Any suggestions you guys can give would be appreciated so that the next one is a little better. Thanks in advance!

Best contrast on bottom will come from black & white or black and yellow. Top thread color then determines overall color scheme.

First off, I like it. I think you have already found what you did wrong (not enough contrast with the pink/blue), but the best thing about any creative endeavor is that there are no rules.
As a suggestion for your future tiger wraps, I've found that by doing several short test wraps using different thread combos you'll end up with less surprises. Just pick the test wrap that suits you best. You will also find some that you'll want to do on a later build as well.

I appreciate the advice! And I thought about taking one day out and just doing several wraps like you said Bill on a scrap blank with several different colors and combos, so guess that is what is next on the list. Thanks again, and if anyone else can think of anything, all suggestions and critiques are appreciated.
