Hello Mike thanks for your comment. No I have not put a finish on yet, I just applied two coats of CP on it. I want to add a wrap to both ends before I put the finish on it. I will post pics once done.

very nicely done. I have started to use minwax spar urethane just one thin coat. Now I like it better then the way I was doing them before
