Mike/Puter - I got some of this stuff from Andy and have only used it for accent and trim rings with other cork pieces on casting rods. I have hesitated to use a full 10 inch section on a popping rod rear grip due to weight. If I bored it out and used sectional arbors what thickness would you leave for a wall thickness of the burl.

Bill I would think that at least a 1/4" would be OK over continuous Flex Coat arbors for a nice ligt grip although I haven't tried it.
