Myles,
Geez your quick!
No its out of Hong Kong and its by a company called Stuart. I bought a 10,000m spool for $55. It has a slightly smaller diameter than Madeira and its tough, hardly any tendency to unwrap itself.
Pete.

Nice job Pete. A weave is all in front of me yet. Just can't get the time at the moment.

Hey Mark,
Thanks again for your comments. Aprreciate it mate.
This took me 8 hours to do, i was not in any hurry as i wanted the best outcome possible ( did have to cut the first attempt off the rod after a metallic thread unwound) but i know what you mean.
I have started the next weave, which is for the same customer, on his 10kg game rod. Both are Sabre blanks. When these are finished, i have an 8kg and a 15kg to for him as well. All will be the same, black/gold.
Regards,
Pete.
