This rod was made By Mathias "Hirs", a rod builder in germany, who I met at the German Rod builders gathering at CMW-Fishing Store, I have seen many Carbon Handles from around the Globe, but this one beats them all, absolute prezised work and a finish like no other, you can not see where it goes over to the blank, and this is only his 10th grip, made from Carbon.

Beautiful work on the grip, but the true artistry is in the paint for the real seat and reel.
