Nice Jeff! Keep at it and try not to get addicted. Wink

By the way, how does the Fuji reel seat feel exposed like that? I have 3 I'm waiting to install and was going to use an insert instead of leaving it blank. Does it feel wobbly, sturdy? Again, great job on your first!

Great looking rod. I also use Pflueger spinning reels and I have one bait caster. Good choice with the MHX blank.

The Fuji seat is sturdy and your thumb feels it all. You can see that the rod is used already, the day before the picture I had a 3.5 lb bass on it and it was rock solid. The Pflueger Arbor is great but I am going to try the President on my next one. I used Pflueger trigger spins on my grandkids rods and even those are great. Thanks for your kind words of encouragement.
