The West Virginia River Monster from the Mon River
Jeremy Wade has not caught this one yet.

Rattle snake skin, but a true skin no scales or hide, it is very thin.

the Rattle snake was in my back yard, it was her unlucky day.
The advantage of using the skin the way I did, is I can wrap it over thread and change the color to what ever I want to shine through.

I got a copperhead skin that way. I tanned it myself but it's not on a rod yet.
