Nice simple diamond Scott and good shot for your first Diamond. Some very small gaps that you could work on in the future but overall an excellent first project.
What type of thread are you using?

Scott, great looking wrap. Metalics are alittle tricky to keep packed.

Scott the photo is extremely close up and I don't think the small gaps would show at all. For your first I think you have done and excellent job with the guides as well as the butt wrap.

I use mostly gudebrod too but am looking for better metallics to use. Have had good luck with gold Anton Robinson in gold but want more colors. You are a brave man doin metallics on a raw blank.

Thanks James but actually that is a black underwrap. The blank itself is white. Thank you for all of your comments everyone.
