For those that can't bare to sink a few more bucks into another electric motor. Motor RPM 6, Glass RPM 15. It's a bit slow and rudementary; but there's room for improvement.

Now THATS thinkin man! Cool that its still dual purpose, when its done mixin, just stand it back up and plug the rod in to finish! Automatic mixers are a real help if you have several rods lined up to finish. Ive been using variatons of these mixers for about 10 years, since my flyrod production days at Abel. They have litterally doubled my finish production! While one rod is being finished, the batch of finish is being mixed for the next while you work.

Great idea, adding another purpose to the drying motor.
