Bird stopped for a rest 75 miles offshore while we were tuna jigging. Sat on the guide for 5 minutes.

Not unusual at all. My friend has had them ride all the way back to shore in the cuddy cabin of his Hydrasport.

We frequently get tuna chicks (storm petrels) landing in the boat, especially at night. Never had a chickadee-looking bird land and sit on a guide in the middle of jigging. As tame as they get, seemed like someones pet. We joked that he liked my wrap...
