Syringes are more accurate. I measure and mix as little as 1cc of each and have never had a problem having the epoxy set up. Some will say mix a minimum of 3cc of each, but that is an incredible waste of epoxy for a rod of 7' or less.

I think he's talking about gel epoxy adhesives, not epoxy wrapping finish.

Another method is to use a syringe, I do it for rod bond.
