This feather is from a brown dyed grizzly hackle neck combined with Jungle Cock. It has a single strand peacock feather topping that doesn't show in the photo

I don't know, it is from a brown dyed grizzly neck and I'm not sure of the dye.

I'm finding the simpler I can keep them the better they look. There is a photo under "Feather Inlays" by Marko Arhagen that illustrates my point.

Marko, I have never tried any dyed feathers other than those already dyed for fly tying and I imagine that they are well done to preserve their color. I use CP on some feathers and Permagloss on others to fix them.
