Michael, I prefered the now pic, I could see where everything was, I also tried this organised setup once didn't work. Made it to difficult to put things down in the right spot. Doc, has got me re-organising so I may be back like this. One good thing I can mess it up again.

Now that is a work of art Michael but I like the other way too with the beer in the cornner.

Very nice set up. What type of roller set up are you using. I like the additional height.

Mike, If someone has emailed you and suggested you stop posting photos, please tell them I am encouraging you to post even more. If they don't want to see your photos, they can go elsewhere or set up their own photo site and run it as they wish. I'm happy to have you posting photos on mine - this one.

Shop photos are always of interest. I wonder how many guys noticed the portable set up of the lathe on the left. Just another idea for someone to glean from a simple photo.

I like the portable butt wraps in between the color charts and lathe too (lol!). My usual place to wrap is either the kitchen counter or table....both close to the beer.

Clean is good, but too clean can be annoying for me. Mark, standard supports for an old Clemens...(a Renzetti lathe has similar supports, but better) Brett, the butt wraps or "wrapskins" are mine and Billys (we were frustrated with CP and Madeira and "experimented")...Tom, the portable came in handy when I needed to "spend more time with the family" (living room) or haul it to the garage (very dirty area) and hook it to a 1/4 hp motor for shaping and sanding. I ended up selling it at a bargain price to Sean Endres...I miss it, but Sean is putting it to great use IMO....the other thing? I'll chill out eventually.

Michael, I wouldn't let someone who tells you to quit posting a 2nd thought. Probably just envious of your work. People like you, Billy Vivona, Doc, Marc Crouse and others inspire people like me to try new things and improve what we do.

Thanks for your comment...it was seeing the works of Billy and Mark Crous two years ago that inspired me to be more creative with crosswraps.(my obsession is their fault! Smile ) I like crosswrapping, thread art, and I'm trying out weaving based on what I've seen on this page.....Just your "do- over" of the smudge wrap inspired me do shade things differently next time. I learn things from visual stimulation....and share what I do, with others...thats it, sharing.

I sent my new "friend" 600 rodbuilding photos by various builders.(maybe he'll share someday)

Sincerely, Mike.. (formerly known as Rapt Tite...LOL)

Keep up your awesome work...looking forward to what you do next.
