...always keep your work area clean and tidy. Spend the extra minute or two to pick up after each evening of wrapping. The clean up minutes add up to hours of mess that ends up like this. (not staged,,some items were actually removed!!)Overwhelmed...

Notice the Miller Lite can in the corner, I knew they'd be one in there, lol. THAt is a real mess you got there, 5 minutes worth of cleaning a night, or a 3 hour tour cleaing every month or so. What were you doing with Contact Cement?

Michael, thanks for posting this photo! Can hardly wait to show it to my wife so she'll understand I'm a "normal" rodbuilder after all. My workplace has to be second runner-up!

My work area almost looks like that and I work on the dining room table until the garage isn't 90 degrees

I think the bench arrangement is worth at least a ten! Great to see one that looks like it is used rather than prepared and arranged for a "Good Housekeeping" photo layout!

This is the worst its ever been, its normally cluttered , just enough that I know where everything is...but this is nuts!! (photo doesn't even show 4 ft to the left and right, not to mention the floor!!) Time to regroup.

The most gifted in one area will often be eccentric in others! Don't
be to hard on yourself!! At least you can see the revelation even if
you can't see your rod jig.
Thanks for the honest picture!
