I started this grip with a different design in mind, and came up with this. I was wpndering, does this look like fish scales? It is not finished yet, i.e. sanded or glued.

I thought it was a scale wrap before I opened it up. GOing to be difficult to sand that yellow wihtout getting streaks of black. Do th majority of teh sanding with wet 220, then go to wet 320.400, 600 and you might be able to sand it clean. I'm curious how you did this, the black isn't triangles.
