Out of rod bond to build a ramp and I spot some #6 foam squares I got a few years ago on the floor. Zip zip zip...insta ramp!!!

Rob, the rod building community as a whole is starting to embrace the grill as a bonafide tool of the trade....see my gallery, it's a great stand to place the rod holder into while I do my static guide placement. That looks good by the way Mike.

The foam square I think I got from Fishsticks, any foam reel seat shim would work too....grills are cool.
