Here's what I settled on. This goes with the GReen & Tan NCP guide wrap I posted last week. Very simple wrap, I switched the colors, but did bands of 4, wrapped out. After each color, I wrapped Black, and each pass I added one more black thread.
Everything was wrapped in bands due to lack of time & just wanting to get it done. The guy wanted something simple, I tried the snowflake thingy, but settled for this.
The top photo is the last pass before I added the Black to close. Should'a left it like this so is makes mr friend Hypnotized

I know, I almost got lost again, lol. I was thinking about really making this guys eyes twisted by cutting out all the black threads out of the pattern after it was done. That would have looked freaky.

I am only guessing Billy but is the bottom picture the side view or is it a different wrap. Looks different than the top and middle pictures. I would have left it open just to drive the guy nuts. I can be mean sometimes.

I think it's the side view, if you look at the center image the centers alternate colors. Very cool.

Doc - it is the Side view of the pattern. I didn't think I would like it much, but as it turned out it came out with a different effect than I usually have on teh rods I do. It's simple, but has a little bit of a confusing look to it - had I used the same sequence on both A & B, there would have been 4 axis of the same pattern, but wrapping bands & switching for A & B - I got that alternating veiw on teh side.

Definately should've left out the final close... though "dizzying, hyptmotizing, and mesmerizing" probablly aren't good feelings out on the seas.lol. ou've been busy.
