I guess you are talking about the black spot on the first full pattern. Sorry but when that happens all I can say is S---. Maybe you had some contamination on the blank itself and it took a while to surface. If you find out what caused it let us know. Please!?!

Yeah the wrap turned out great, except for that nasty black blotch. A couple of the guides had some nasty looking spots too.


Doc the only thing I can think of is one of two things. I didn't clean the blank very well, or when I showed to a couple of people some thing got on the threads that didn't allow the CP to seal the threads.


Gotta wait until it is complete to show it off and maybe take a few minutes to really clean the blank before I start wrapping.
