Well this time I did Three identical flat wraps of 9003 size A Three coats of finish. Then I did two-two thread open overwraps in opposing directions with the following threads.


Top Black A with Black A and sacrificed one


Middle Black A with Black B and sacrifice the B


Bottome Black A with Black D and sacrifice the D.


If you notice the pattern opens more of the underwrap as the threads go bigger and it appears more Diffuse.


The one unfortunate part is they all appear to look like abalone a bit but the colors got washed out in the sun. I wish you could see then in person.

Whoa!! You are spending entirely too much time on tigers Doc!!. No matter how many you do, I'm still liking the A,A unders with one A and a sacrifice on top. They just look "right" to me.
