You could try some X tube over your fore grip. Nice fish gotta love those Super Seekers.

Jim I use the 3m cold shrink over my grips. What I had was when the rod taken from me because of tangles or anchor rope dances the rod was drug down the rail on the epoxy butt wrap. The foregrip was 18 inches with the cold shrink inlayed into the hypalon. I did not have any problems with the foregrip just the decorative wrap's epoxy. I think that the Aftcote epoxy is just a little softer that what is out there.

Thad, to catch a tuna like would be worth building a new rod each time. Congratulations.
