I built a rod for myself for field testing. The blank is a MHX DS820 with mircro #4's to the tip with a #10 M-Style stripper guide. The St Johns Cross was wrapped on both the fore and aft areas at one time. The total time to wrap was 4 hours, I'm getting faster, but still have a way to go to catch Billy. It was a fun build and cast like a dream.

4 hours is really fast, 2 4 1 (two for one) is the way to go. THat is just gorgous, and I love the shape and style of the seat. Keep it up someone might think you know what you are doing, lol. Enjoy fishing it.

Thanks Billy, this is the only way to wrap a split grip. I hope that I never finish learning, as far as thinking I may know what I'm doing; that's debatable (lol).
