For anyone interested - that's a Mud Hole CRB handle system butt cap. It fits a 3/4 hole nicely. I chucked the glued up burl in the lathe and used a flat wood bit - the kind with the pointed edges - to bore the cork.


The thread is Gudebrod dark green. Forhan wraps on all guides and one coat of TM. 5 ounces total weight.
