Here are some more photos of the broken rod I posted earlier. I called the manufacturer and talked to them about it, they said it sounded like it was a delamination issue and to send it back for inspection, if no impact or crush damage is found they will replace it.

Chuck I didn't post anything on the forum just a photo, you will have to look in my gallery, the photo was called splintered blank.
