Very nice, well thought out setup.I really like it!

How did you attach the tip top to the spring?

I use to use a home made wrapper that had the thread fed from the back and above as yours. It was a piece of junk as a wrapper but I always liked wrapping with the thread coming from behind and above.I purchased a Pac Bay DLX power wrapper a couple of years ago and it's been a tough transition getting use to wrapping with the thread coming from the front.

I may just have to try making something like yours to fit my Pac Bay wrapper to see how it goes.

Thanks, I used the tip top attached to a scrap section of rod, I then wrapped tape around it and a few drops of epoxy and slid it in. Works great. I really like having the thread feed from the back, out of my way as I work.

Very nice wrapper! Very nice craftsmanship! I'm going to use your example of a thread carriage to improve mine a little. I also like my thread fed from the back, but mine feeds under the blank, then up and over the blank.
