Made to hold 4 spools. The tension devise is made of a small spring and tip top it is very flexible and allows me to back up like 3-4 turns if need be. It also flexes and allows the thread to feed close to the rod, which I like. I can adjust the tension with the springs and clips. I added felt to the washers, this increases the friction and aids in adding tension.
