How I spent my weekend. Customer designed using pics of my earlier one as a base. She will be giving it as a gift to her guy. This one was fun. I wish all customers were as wonderful to work with as she was.

Looks great Mick. Man that is a lot of cross wrapping. Is the middle a close out? Hey next time try the chevrons above going up and the ones below going down. What kind of rod is it?

Thanks Doc! It's a Seeker 704. The center is closed and I didn't think those birds were ever going to end. Fat blanks and size A can sure make the clock spin fast! I would have liked to do that with the chevrons but I was given a sketch of how she wanted it so I just followed that. Overall, I really liked her ideas.

Mick, great job mate, when you told me you were doing a rod similar to your first I thought we wouldn't see you again for a while. Now go fishing before the season is over. Also we need to see more of your great work so stop the overtime.

Thank you very much guys! One of these days I might end up making myself one.

Myles, I'm hoping to in the next couple of weeks. Been a very long summer and it's about time I let myself have some fun!
