I agree with Billy the colors are awesome. Are you wrapping these in bands of several threads at the same time? Also what is the cross wrap or have you shown that already? What I love most about it is that it is distinctly different.

Wow, dude. I saw something like that in the 60's but
that was another time..... Man do I like this or what! What
yellow did you use? I got a client who will want a whole rod
done in this yellow....really good.

Doc, the bands were wrap one thread at a time. I wrap everything one thread at a time. The crosswrap I did post in the Thread Art forum....I need to edit that picture as the wrap has changed. I will post a another picture here of the whole wrap.
Thanks Dave.........The yellow is Madeira 1935, one of the fluorescent Polyneons.

Where did you get the cool decals to do this?
Seriously, that is some great work all around. My wife, who is still working on her first rod, has been trying to design something very similar to this. She really loves it. She has also added your name to her rapidly growing "Honey, how come you don't do really pretty work like _________ does?" list

That's absolutely stunning. I'm glad I never tried cross wraps because I would quit after seeing this one. Can't wait for the encore.

I finally got to see this rod in person last week. EVERY guide is wrapped like this, I think there are 7 or 8 on teh rod. This rod will be on display in Charlotte, I'm not going to say where becasue as soon as you walk in you'll see the bright glow, lol.
