Here is the other rod I built for the Ocean Eagle Crew. The guy wanted it Yellow and Pink, so nobody can walk off the boat with teh rod - he wanted it LOUD and BRIGHT. That's why I added the Gold Holo, I really don't like how it looks. However, I took it out in teh sun this AM with teh epoxy over it, and it actually looks OK.

Thanks Doug. i wish people were able to see some of Bernie Cohen's inlays, the work he puts into his blow mine away. Not only that, he comes up with unique ideas for rods (one is the Italian rod, where he has an Italian flag butt wrap, guide wrps match teh flag, and he has an outline of the country of italy, complete with Sicily getting the boot, lol). He definately inspired me and sent me on teh path of contact cement, razorblades & foam. Some of his work has been posted over teh past few years, I'll try to find links to it for you.

I like the whole combination Billy. The Eagle crosswrap is something "new" on a blank and I think does the job better than the old Thunderbird.

what kind of thread work or thread, are we seeing around the gold?
I really like that eagle wrap a lot-it has many possibilities!
(The inlay cleaned up real nice!)

Excellent work on both grip and thread work. Is there any place you can see BCs work? I dont know anyone in this area other than you.
