Finish: Diamond II
Thread unwound after finish completely cured.
Left leg:Light coating of finish - texture of threads visible - tunnels filled. Right leg: heavy coating of finish - tunnels not filled.
Penetration looks very similar except for entrance area of tunnels

Tunnel much larger on 2 foot guides. Redo your test puting heavy on single leg side. Wanna get complete penetration 100% of the time - use heat after you put finish on. I know it's the wrong way to do things.
