The wood is cherry the accent fing is fly foam and the sealer is tru-oil. Reelseat insert will be cherry also.

Very nice and clean looking.


Is the main part of the grip some kind of burl cork?If so,would you mind sharing the source?


I'm not sure if I have ever seen that kind of burl cork before,if that is what it is.It looks very light in color with a nice tight grain to it.

Burl cork from Mudhole, natural color. Finishes very nice they also have green, blue, red, and brown.

I'll be interested to see it in a year or so given that cherry usually darkens. Give a whole different look.

UV effects the wood even with a finish. I have a couple of cedar grips that started off almost purple then fade to a reddish brown. The grip is very nice, with some very attractive lines. The darkening will accent the grip in a couple of years.
