Jay, very nice looking rod you built for yourself. I really like the split grip that you did, as well as the Aero seat.


Is the butt grip a single piece? Did you buy it like that, or glue the cork and EVA together?

Butt grip is a two piece, got it from Swampland, purchased both a cork and EVA set and combined the two, minor sanding to get it even. Came out pretty good for my first rod. Learned alot on what to do different the next time.
