I have been playing with casting resins. I imbedded a casting fly into imitation ivory and surrounded with walnut burl. The ramp is made with poly foam from a reel seat insert. The rod blank is a tiger eye 3wt.

Ellis, I haven't cast the rod. I made the grip for a friend and he's going to finish it. What little I did as far as shaking the blank; I was impressed. It felt crisp and seemed like a great value for the money. Eddie thanks for the kind words.
