THat's a fantastic job for wrap number 1. Or wrap number 100. You put pressure on me - I am going to wrap 2 rods with a version of a T-Bird - I gotta make sur eI keep up with teh younger generation, lol.

WOW... Someone else to watch out for!!!
The colour choice is right on- not the same ole boreing stuff- someone has a good eye ;^) The thread work is also impressive....first one down- I bet your now more hooked than the fish it will catch!!!

Thanks Guys! I got alot of practice with this one and learned about thread tension and packing the hard way. I cringed everytime I heard "tink" when packing the threads, and proceeded to strip down and rewrap. It was a differnet color choice, started with the tan (290) and kinda grew from there. Plus it broke up the blue on the rod. the guides are pac bays tich with blue rings with blue dunn, silver trim thread.

When you pop threads, don't worry. No need to rewrap - nobody can tell tehre is one thread missing here or there.

I wish my first closed wrap would have came out that nice. Since I have been trying a few threads other than gudebrod I have found that I can't use as much tension or the thread breaks off on me. I have yet to re-wrap either, just pull out the offending thread to ends and no one except for you will know that there is a thread missing.
