Great session on EVA grip design and inlays yesterday. Thanks to Paul Rimbeck and Billy for hosting the event. Some great innovative ideas being tossed around. It really was an eye opener as to what is possible...

Donald, I have the Varigated blocks unbored 2x2 in stock. Jim, I'm glad you left wide eyed, there really was some sick stuff, and super detailed info on how to do it. Ray, it really was a lot of fun, just wait until someone posts the Nerb Olympic Torch. I'mnot going to sit here and pretendtalkingabout making grips for hours on end is the most exciting thing in teh world, it's not - BUT some of teh stuff that goes on is just hilarious and really makes it a lot of fun.

I spent the 45 min ride home at 9:30 planning a new grip design with the lessons I learned here. Billy and Paul do an awesome job making all of us understand the angles and what to expect before you turn it down. Was great to see Paul`s pristine shop floor all covered with foam scraps and dust. Good thing the Eagles dropped the ball, Paul has all day to detail the shop!!(Sorry Paul). Thanks again for a great day.

Fred, other that the beer that was spilled on the wrapping bench, (won't mention any names B40), i got most of the shop cleaned up Saturday night. Couldn't wait until Sunday. Another successful gathering. Thanks to Billy for putting the whole thing together. Hosting, and cleaning up, is the easy part.

That beer was good, but the other ones I had were better. Ommegang Hennipin was especially good. That was the ONLY thing I cleaned up in there, lol. All jokes aside, I'm glad you guys got to see how fast I turn the grips after glueing them up, and haw to quickly go from square to round. I learned something there myself, I was going at slow speed, fast speed was MUCH better.
